You told us getting applications to us is hard because we only offer limited hours of counter service, and when you do come waiting to see a visa officer just to hand over your application is not the most comfortable experience. Our Embassy is beautiful but it was not designed to be a working office where we can provide waiting spaces with all the customer facilities that we agree should be available.
Now we have added a new safe and reliable service option for you (if you live in Russia) to get applications to us that does not require you to come to the Embassy which will be available to you from 9:30 am to 5:00pm every working day!
Visa support service will be provided by TT Services Russia and will be available from centres in Moscow and St Petersburg from 18 March 2010.
Immigration New Zealand has an agreement with “TT Service” to provide secure delivery service to bring applications safely and reliably to and from our branch in Moscow for processing. TT Services has visa centres in Moscow and St Petersburg, and drop off points will be available in Vladivostok and Siberia by 1 July 2010. The fee for the service is fixed at 954 Roubles per application from any of the TTS centres or drop off points. In addition to any INZ Visa fee that may apply.
TTS Centres provide access to current Immigration forms and pamphlets free of charge and can provide answers to general questions about these documents.
TTS is responsible for the following on behalf of Immigration New Zealand:
collecting all types of temporary entry visa applications and confirming and recording the documents entrusted to them for delivery;
accepting the application processing fee on behalf of Immigration New Zealand
returning dispatches from Immigration New Zealand, including passports for customers who used TTS delivery
If you wish to send an application for a visa or provide additional information for your application delivered by TTS already with Immigration New Zealand, contact our TTS office, the addresses will be given on the TTS website. Any application received by TTS office in Moscow by end of business hours reaches Immigration New Zealand the next working day.
Still prefer to bring your application to the Embassy after 17 March 2010?
Now that there is an alternative option for you to get your applications to us we can offer an appointment system to give customers who wish to, or have to, bring applications in person assurance that they will be seen on the day of their (visit) appointment. This means even in peak season if you have an appointment we will guarantee you will be seen by a visa officer on the day of your appointment at the allotted time. No more uncertainty!
If you prefer or need to bring your application in person you must make an appointment to meet with a Visa Officer at the embassy.
Appointments for lodging applications will be available from 09:30 – 10-45 on working days.
Appointments for collecting passports in person will be available from 10:45 – 11:30 am on working days
Please note that we will be unable to see you at the Immigration New Zealand Counter at the Embassy unless you have made an appointment in advance.
We hope that you will find the new service options make the business of getting your applications to us more time efficient and will give you a better service experience.
Thank you for providing the feedback that has helped us develop these new service options and please continue to tell us about what you think of our service so that we can continue to improve our service.

You have one month to get your application to the Immigration Advisers Authority if you want to be certain the assessment process will be complete before the introduction of mandatory offshore licensing on 4 May 2010.
If your application is not received by 2 December, the Immigration Advisers Authority cannot guarantee that the assessment process will be finished by 4 May next year. Immigration New Zealand will not accept any applications lodged by unlicensed immigration advisers after 4 May 2010 – and if you haven’t received your licence, Immigration New Zealand will consider you to be unlicensed, even if you have submitted your application.
New Zealand’s reputation as a migrant destination is enhanced by having a high standard of licensed advisers and your reputation is enhanced by having proof that you meet the quality standards set by the New Zealand Government.
We hope to receive your application soon. If you have any questions about the application process, please send your email to info@iaa.govt.nz.
